Diagnosis Beer with Landon Carthel of Beeritual

Nearly two weeks ago I featured a link to Landon Carthel’s amazing beer blog, Beeritual. Around that time I also featured the first edition of “Diagnosis Beer,” a segment featuring the recommendations of people from the beer world. I wasn’t sure if it was going to become a regular feature until I got in contact with Landon and asked  him if he’d like to contribute. And he said yes! I hope to continue this grand tradition if I can find more people as willing to share as Landon and our previous “good doctor,” Zach Mack.

So, without further ado, here are Landon Carthel of Beeritual’s tried-and-trues:

Ales

Pale Ale: Oskar Blues Brewery’s Dale’s Pale Ale

Porter: Founders Brewing Company Founders Porter

Stout: Deschutes Brewery’s Obsidian Stout

India Pale Ale: Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Landon and Zack both listed this as their favorite IPA!

Wheat Beer: Odell Brewing Company’s Easy Street Wheat

Lagers

Pilsner: Victory Brewing Company’s Prima Pils

Landon shares this opinion with our first beer expert, Austin Walker.

Bock: Schneider Weisse’s Aventinus Einbock

Dunkel: Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier’s Dunkel
